Looking for a veterinary role where you can practise high-quality medicine, enjoy a supportive team and still have time for life outside of work?
This well-established clinic in a thriving country town is seeking a vet. The clinic is located within easy reach of both Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Couples are also encouraged to apply (small animal vets and/or mixed practitioners).
The pace of work is steady and manageable, allowing veterinarians to focus on thorough consultations and thoughtful case management rather than rushed appointments. With experienced, capable nurses providing excellent support and no after hours responsibilities, the team enjoys a balanced and sustainable work environment.
A typical week may include:
– Consultations with appropriate time for client communication and case discussion
– Routine and soft tissue surgical procedures
– Dental examinations and treatments
– Medical case work ups using appropriate diagnostics
– Ongoing case management and continuity of care
The clinic is seeking a veterinarian who enjoys community practice and values strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will be confident managing cases and possess strong communication skills and a compassionate approach. Vets should be capable of sole charge while still valuing collaboration and team support.
What’s on Offer:
– Established small animal clinic with a loyal client base
– No after hours or on call work
– Supportive and experienced nursing team
– Access to a broader network of veterinary colleagues and expertise
– Modern diagnostic and surgical facilities
– A positive workplace culture where people genuinely enjoy coming to work
The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
The practice is located in a thriving country town with a booming café scene. There is good access to all the amenities and it is only an hour to Brisbane or 1.5 hours to the Gold Coast. The town has a large population of tree-changers and young families relocating to the area which means they have lots of willing owners prepared to do everything for their animals.
