"I worked at Vetlink from 2012 until 2022. Before this, I spent a number of years working as a Veterinary Nurse. When I started at Vetlink, I had very little knowledge about how the world of recruitment worked. However, the training Vetlink provided me with was exceptional. It enabled me to understand the recruitment process and the importance of matching the perfect candidate with the perfect job. I started at Vetlink in an administration position. This assisted me greatly in gaining a solid understanding of how the company's processes work. Helping the senior consultants with their applications, and assessments of candidates made me understand why Vetlink has such well thought out procedures in place. The support I received from Mark and Denise was fantastic. At no point did I feel I was out of my depth. Denise and Mark made sure I was comfortable with my assigned tasks every step of the way. Once I had a solid understanding of the administrative side of things, both Mark and Denise would ask me to assist them with jobs such as calling referees. I found this exciting and would look forward to being able to share the assessments of candidates with them both. Things began to progress quickly. It was really, really exciting! I will never forget my first placement. I went home with a huge smile on my face. I eventually became responsible for the placement of vets and vet nurses in Australia and the United Kingdom. Working at Vetlink was such a positive experience for me. The training and knowledge I received over the years is something I will always be grateful for. I hope to return to Vetlink one day!"
