The team of vets and nurses are frequently involved in a variety of surgeries, and they are looking for a motivated nurse to join their team who enjoys a fast pace and can operate confidently within a professional environment.
The ideal candidate will have diploma or degree level vet nursing qualifications and the hands on experience to deliver high quality nursing care.
Duties will include:
– Surgical nursing including, hospital prep/care, anaesthetics, animal handling, clean up duties.
– Vet nurse consults
– Wellness programmes
– 40 hours per week, including a Saturday/on call roster.
The clinic hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday and 9 am to 2 pm on Saturdays. The practice is closed on Sundays.
The practice is located in a vibrant waterfront town known for its artistic community and lively cafe culture. It is within close proximity to amazing beaches and a nearby city with fantastic food and access to some of the most spectacular National Parks in New Zealand.
