On offer is a fantastic opportunity for a vet nurse with a minimum of three years of experience to help guide the nursing team and ensure every patient gets the best possible care.

To be successful in this position, you will be confident in handling emergency cases and mentoring junior staff. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of clinic initiatives, conduct individual staff performance reviews and collaborate effectively as a key member of the clinic leadership team.

The position is to work Monday to Friday, with a 1:5 rotating Saturday clinic roster.

For qualified nurses with a minimum of one year’s experience, there is also the option of a part-time role. You’ll work across a variety of responsibilities with a team that will support you every step of the way.

Responsibilities include providing compassionate, expert care to patients, including administering medications and anaesthesia, monitoring recovery and responding to any changes in their condition. You’ll assist in surgeries, helping procedures run smoothly and support pet parents by clearly explaining treatment plans and post-care advice.

Sharing your skills and knowledge, you’ll mentor and guide team members while collaborating with veterinarians and clinic staff to optimise workflows and deliver seamless care. You’ll also help keep the clinic running efficiently by managing supplies and maintaining accurate records.

About you:

– Minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience as a veterinary nurse in a small animal practice
