An exciting opportunity is available for a Certificate IV qualified Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established, independent veterinary practice in inner Melbourne.
This ASAV-accredited Hospital of Excellence provides comprehensive small animal medical and surgical services and is supported by a large, experienced team of veterinarians and support staff.
This full-time position will involve a varied range of nursing duties including caring for hospitalised medical and surgical patients, surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring, assisting veterinarians during consultations and procedures, consulting nursing, client education, reception duties and maintaining accurate clinical records. The role also includes maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control throughout the hospital.
The practice is seeking a veterinary nurse with at least two to three years of recent clinical experience, strong communication skills and demonstrated competency in surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring. The successful applicant will enjoy working in a busy, fast-paced environment and be committed to providing high standards of patient care and client service.
