This is a small clinic that currently employs 1 vet, 1 vet nurse and a clinic co-ordinator. The successful applicant must be happy to work sole charge.
The successful veterinarian will oversee the small animal practice, managing a varied clinical caseload and building lasting relationships with clients. This position is ideal for an all-rounder who enjoys taking initiative and making a meaningful impact within a thriving veterinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Support the clinic team in their development, recruitment, and performance management, with the backing of an experienced and highly capable veterinary nurse and clinic coordinator.
– Develop the companion animal business and identify new opportunities to deliver value to customers.
– Lead the daily operations of the clinic and be actively involved in decision-making and business planning.
– Provide exceptional veterinary care to patients, ensuring their well-being and quality of life.

To be successful in this position, applicants must have a minimum of three years of experience in companion animal practice. Strong clinical skills, particularly in surgery and consulting, will be key to success in this role.
