A position has become available for a veterinarian to join a privately owned, independent practice in Sydney’s Inner West.
This is a full-time role working four days per week, with no weekends, no public holidays, and no after-hours. The practice is open from 8 am to 6 pm on weekdays and is closed on weekends and public holidays. Team members are encouraged to leave on time.
This busy four-vet small animal practice is located in a beautiful waterfront suburb and has recently been renovated. The hospital is spacious and well-equipped, with a recent radiology upgrade that includes full ultrasound, digital dental radiology and digital radiology. The team sees a varied caseload and works closely with local and travelling specialists on more complex cases. Exotics cases are referred.
This role would suit a vet who is passionate about small animal practice and keen to continue developing their skills. The practice is looking for someone who wants to become a strong all-rounder, with the opportunity to build exceptional skills in one or more areas. Vets considering membership exams in medicine, general practice, surgery, or another area of interest would be well suited to the role.
The team practises high-quality veterinary medicine and surgery without the pressure of trying to hit KPIs. Appointments are not double-booked, and the vets are well supported by skilled and motivated nurses, receptionists and management. The team values collaboration, learning, a friendly workplace culture and achieving the best outcomes for patients and clients. They work hard, but also enjoy a workplace where people can have fun and not take themselves too seriously.
This position is not suitable for new graduates or vets who require assistance with a work visa.
