A well-established BEST Practice Accredited practice in New Zealand’s Northland region has an exciting opportunity available for a companion animal vet with a minimum of two years’ experience to join the team.
This is a permanent position with full or part-time hours considered. After-hours are approximately 1:6 with days off after a weekend worked.

The practice employs three companion animal vets and three large animal vets. Vets are supported by a great team of nurses who make their job a dream. You will have the opportunity to develop a close working relationship with loyal clients and their pets, whilst being encouraged to work up cases and take them through from initial presentation to resolution. Each day, you will be supported and mentored through an interesting mix of consulting, treatment, and surgical responsibilities.

The practice sees a varied and interesting caseload. The clinic is well-equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental x-ray, fluid pumps and IDEXX.
The clinic is located within easy reach of many beautiful beaches and there is outstanding fishing and diving close by. The beautiful, extensive coastline provides year-round fishing and diving opportunities, plus lots of hiking and horseback riding, to name a few activities!
