A 24-hour small animal hospital based in beautiful County Durham is looking to welcome a GP veterinarian into their dedicated team.
This is a full-time role to work 40 hours per week. There is a dedicated OOH team and therefore, no OOH contribution will be required. There is a 1:6 weekend rota (with a day in lieu).
Additional qualifications or interests (surgery, ophthalmology or dentistry) are welcomed but not essential. If you are looking to develop your veterinary skills, the practice employs certificate holders in various disciplines, including surgery and medicine, and will happily support further training.
Are you keen to work in a well-equipped practice with an array of in-house tools to help you care for inpatients, including an in-house laboratory, CT scanner (pending installation), Digital X-ray, Ultrasound, Upper and lower GI tract endoscopes, rigid female canine cystoscope, bronchoscope, laparoscopic equipment and a Hydrotherapy unit (pending installation)?

Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner.
The practice is located in the North East of the UK in County Durham, in a bustling market town, and is just minutes between Durham City and Barnard Castle.
