An opportunity has become available for a veterinarian to work in a mixed practice in South East Queensland.
The mix of work is flexible, and the position can be tailored to your interests. The practice caseload is 50% equine, 35% small animal, and 15% production animals. Vets interested in large animal or equine only work, as well as those wanting a mixed practice role, are welcome to apply.
The equine work ranges from reproduction, lameness workups and stitch-ups to management of medical cases and surgeries.
The successful applicant will join an eight-vet team and work out of a purpose-built clinic with equine and small animal surgical facilities, and all the equipment you need.
The practice works closely with a range of registered visiting specialists, and multiple referral hospitals are nearby.
You will join a team that is passionate about pets and are all avid animal lovers. They know how to work hard but also have a good time too!
Salary: $90,000 to $130,000 p.a plus super, negotiable based on experience plus 1 week study leave p.a plus annual study allowance.
Sponsorship (work permit) will be considered for vets from overseas. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
