Are you seeking a great work environment? Want to enjoy coming to work? Enjoy a positive team culture that values you and your wellbeing!

This position is ideal for a vet who enjoys a supportive team environment and a companion-animal caseload with genuine flexibility. You will join a well-established clinic that’s known for its collaborative culture and high clinical standards. The team works across two locations and includes experienced veterinarians, skilled nurses and friendly reception staff who keep everything running smoothly.

The clinic is fully equipped with modern technology, including digital radiography (including dental), ultrasound, full in-house lab (Idexx ProCyte, Catalyst, iStat, Sedivue, Imagyst, coags), anaesthetic monitoring, Bair Hugger and Tono-Vet. You will have everything you need to deliver quality care and the freedom to pursue the areas of practice you enjoy most.

The role offers a great work-life balance, with no after-hours or on-call, and the option of full-time or flexible part-time hours to suit your lifestyle. A typical full-time week is four days, with an additional day off following a rostered weekend.

The caseload is varied, covering preventative health, dentistry, routine and more complex surgery, emergencies and full work-ups – always with support close by.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

The employer can provide relocation assistance and offers excellent professional development support. You’ll have access to structured CPD, paid study leave, wellbeing programs and genuine career pathways.

The area offers excellent educational and recreational facilities. There is beautiful colonial architecture, outstanding museums, over twenty parks and sporting grounds, and beautiful beaches nearby. There are a lot of horses in the area for those interested in riding, plus all the usual sporting facilities. It’s an affordable, welcoming community with a subtropical climate and sunny days year-round – a great place to settle in and enjoy a balanced life. You can drive to the beach in 30 minutes.
