A full-time position is available for a veterinarian at a high-quality, well-equipped hospital in Darwin.
This opportunity is open to new/recent graduates as well as experienced vets.
Join a busy small animal practice focused on providing excellent veterinary care and outstanding customer service. The caseload consists of 90% dogs and cats. However, vets at the practice also treat exotics, pocket pets, zoo animals and wildlife. Animals from charities and re-homing groups are on the patient list too.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to play with all the usual toys (digital X-ray, ultrasound, IM3 dental station, in-house lab etc.) and work through a variety of challenging and complex medical and surgical cases whilst being supported by an experienced team of vets and vet nurses. After-hours is approximately 1 night in 12.
This role is an excellent opportunity to gain employment in a busy, well-organised and friendly practice.
The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
