A well-established practice is seeking a companion animal veterinarian to join its team in Central Otago.
This full-time role would suit a vet with at least four years of companion animal clinical experience who enjoys delivering high-quality care, building genuine relationships with clients, and working as part of a collaborative veterinary team.
The position involves providing strong medical and surgical care to companion animals, contributing to a proactive small animal service, and helping maintain excellent standards of patient and client care. There is also scope for the right person to grow into leadership over time.
This is a great opportunity for a vet with a solid companion animal skill set who is confident handling more complex cases and values both clinical excellence and teamwork. An interest or experience in areas such as internal medicine, dentistry or imaging would be welcomed.
The practice offers a supportive environment with modern equipment, a friendly team culture and a clear focus on helping vets grow in their careers while doing meaningful work.
The employer offers a strong salary package of $110,000 to $130,000, along with a broad range of benefits. These include CPD and self-education support, an employee assistance programme, structured development reviews, wellbeing support, discounted animal care services and products, annual flu vaccination, an extra paid day off for your birthday, long service leave, parental leave top-ups, paid leave for non-primary caregivers, flexible working arrangements and KiwiSaver contributions.
