A practice in sunny Brisbane is seeking a veterinarian with an interest in surgery to join the team.

The practice is made up of two vibrant clinics in Brisbane’s southern suburbs. The team blend modern medicine with genuine warmth and good humour!

This is a full-time permanent position. Clinic hours are 8 am to 6/7 pm on weekdays, 8 am to 5 pm on Saturdays and closed on Sundays. There are seven vets employed by the practice, working a mix of full-time and part-time hours. Three to four vets are rostered on each day.

You will be working alongside a supportive, skilled and genuinely fun team, led by the practice owner who has a special interest in orthopaedics. Other vets at the practice have special interests ranging from exotics, Chinese medicine, acupuncture and behaviour, so you will complete the team’s skillset with your passion for surgery!

The clinic is well-equipped with ultrasound, echocardiography and endoscopy.

The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience and be confident with routine surgeries and dentals at a minimum.

You can expect a salary in the range of $100,000 to $160,000 per annum plus super. However, this is negotiable.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
