In addition to a varied small animal caseload, the clinic works closely with two local wildlife groups and sees wildlife patients daily, offering a unique opportunity to develop experience in this area.
The successful candidate will work in a spacious, well-equipped hospital featuring ultrasound, digital x-ray, an IM3 dental machine, endoscopy, in-house laboratory, and a full anaesthetic suite with comprehensive monitoring equipment.
The clinic maintains a steady caseload, with consultations scheduled in 15- or 30-minute blocks depending on case complexity.
Staff wellbeing is a key priority for the practice owner. Vets are supported by an experienced nursing team, and a specialist surgeon visits every two months to assist with more complex cases.
The practice covers NT veterinary board registration and offers a CPD allowance. Ongoing professional development is strongly encouraged, and special interests are well supported.
Sponsorship (work permit) is available for suitable overseas applicants. Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for veterinary registration in Australia.
