Would you like to join a team of dedicated swine veterinarians?

A well-established practice is seeking a passionate swine veterinarian to join their swine services team.

Applicants will ideally be currently working in pig practice or in a mixed practice servicing pig clients. You will already have a sound knowledge of pig health and production.

Experienced veterinarians are preferred; however, recent graduates who can demonstrate a genuine interest in working with pigs are encouraged to apply. Vets with a strong background in mixed practice will also be considered for the role.

The team are encouraged to bring new ideas and contribute to the future development of the services and products that the pig team will provide to clients in the future. Occasionally, the team travel away from home and get to experience the Australian countryside.

The position offers various professional development opportunities such as undertaking a competency-based training program and spending time with industry leaders, both in Australia and internationally. There will also be the chance to attend trade shows and industry events to expand your knowledge in the field of swine health and production and increase your industry network.

There are plenty of tools to play with to investigate acute and chronic disease problems and to put preventative care in place. Vets with a passion for analysing data, applied research or developing new tools will be provided with the opportunity to develop these areas.
