Interested in a rare opportunity to see parts of Melbourne and surrounds? Want to meet and work with a diverse range of veterinary teams?

A mobile-based internal medicine service is seeking a motivated individual to help build their expanding team.

The role can be full or part-time. Whether you wish to work one, two or five days a week – the employer is here to support you and your lifestyle by offering flexible hours/days and generous remuneration commensurate with the workload. Interstate relocation assistance will be provided to the right applicant.

Become part of a team offering a service that bridges the gap between general practice and referral medicine while offering reliable recommendations and support. The team travels around Melbourne to various clinics and performs abdominal ultrasound, echocardiograms, ECG, various endoscopies, interventional procedures, oncology and consultations for some of their partner clinics.

The team has a great network of loyal, dedicated referring general practices who regularly utilise and value the service.

The ideal candidate will:

– Be a specialist or residency-trained individual in Internal Medicine, Radiology or Oncology; or a veterinarian with any post-graduate qualifications in relevant fields, for example, CertAVP (diagnostic imaging), MANZCVS (radiology, small animal) or Graduate Certificate in Advanced Small Animal Ultrasound with relevant experience. Experienced veterinarians in ultrasonography will be considered.

– Have enthusiasm for delivering continuing education (this will be in the form of presentations to veterinary teams and/or marketing material).

– Possess the ability to work remotely and also as part of a team. The successful vet will have a dedicated nursing team for support.

– Love balancing lifestyle and work.

– Have a passion for what you do!

Equipment includes two mobile ultrasound machines with complete cardiac and abdominal software and transducers, a full endoscopy suite that has been customised for mobility and transportation, a range of equipment and consumables for a range of diagnostic procedures, wireless 12 lead ECG, and mobile oncological set-up.
