Vetlink is working with a well-established small animal practice on the NSW Mid North Coast that is looking to welcome a veterinarian into their team due to growth. Both new/recent graduates and experienced vets are encouraged to apply.
This is a newly created position offering flexibility, with full-time or part-time hours available, making it suitable for a wide range of candidates.
The role involves small animal general practice work within a collaborative and supportive team environment. There is strong backing for recent graduates, with mentoring and guidance available, while experienced vets will enjoy working alongside colleagues who value teamwork, communication and shared knowledge.
The practice operates a 1 in 6 after-hours roster and offers a competitive salary above industry standards, along with CPD support to help you continue developing your skills.
The practice remains independent and community focused, with an emphasis on high-quality patient care and sustainable work practices.
There is the opportunity for practice partnership for the right applicant.
The employer is willing to assist with a work visa (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
Outside of work, the Mid North Coast lifestyle is a major drawcard. You will be surrounded by beaches, rivers, lakes and national parks, offering endless options for swimming, fishing, hiking and relaxed coastal living. The area is known for its more affordable housing compared to major cities, while still being within easy driving distance of larger centres such as Port Macquarie and Newcastle when you want a taste of city life. It’s an ideal location for vets looking to balance a rewarding career with space, nature and a genuine sense of community.
