A rare and exciting opportunity is available for a small animal surgeon to join a high-quality, well-equipped specialist veterinary practice located in Perth, Western Australia.
The successful applicant will ideally be a registered specialist in small animal surgery or possess qualifications that would enable registration in Western Australia. Consideration will also be given to candidates who have completed a recognised residency training program in small animal surgery and are eligible to sit for specialist examinations.
The position primarily involves a caseload comprising orthopaedic and spinal neurosurgery, providing the opportunity to work at the forefront of surgical practice in a purpose-built, well-supported facility.
The ideal candidate will be confident working independently while enjoying the support and collaboration of two experienced, registered specialist surgeons.
This role offers a 4-day working week, with a 1 in 3 shared on-call commitment to support work-life balance. Continuing professional development is strongly supported and encouraged, and salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
