A full-time position is available for an experienced veterinary nurse to take on a senior role at a modern hospital in Sydney’s north-western suburbs.
The position is full-time with a shared roster across seven days.
This senior role is perfect for a confident nurse who enjoys surgery, anaesthesia, patient care and being part of a hands-on, collaborative team.
The hospital has been designed with both pets and people in mind. Nurses are encouraged to use their skills to the fullest, supported by a high nurse-to-vet ratio and a team culture where everyone pitches in. The role includes blood collection, IV catheter placement, anaesthetic monitoring, medication administration, radiography, post-operative care and close collaboration with the veterinary team.
This role will particularly suit a nurse with a strong interest in surgery and anaesthesia. The caseload includes orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, with an on-site rehabilitation centre supporting continuity of patient care.
The successful applicant will hold a Certificate IV or equivalent, have experience in a busy hospital environment and enjoy building strong relationships with clients while delivering high-quality patient care.
