A mixed practice in New Zealand’s Manawatu-Wanganui Region is seeking to employ a production animal veterinarian with an interest in sheep and beef.
This permanent full-time position.
The right applicant will join a team of experienced vets who see a sheep, beef and companion animal caseload. The large animal team is headed by a vet with 30 years of experience, and the small animal hospital is headed by a clinician with more than 10 years of experience.
This is a true production animal role. Key attributes of the position include:

– Great interpersonal skills to build relationships.
– Willingness to participate in the after-hours roster.
With an efficient team of support staff, this is a great opportunity to be a part of a tight-knit, cohesive team. The practice offers great opportunities for collegial learning and continuing education.
The after-hours roster is one night per week. Weekends are shared with a neighbouring practice in the community; giving approximately a 1:6 to 1:8 weekend roster.
