A position has become available for a mixed animal veterinarian to join a friendly, experienced four-vet team in the Waikato region.
Both experienced vets and new/recent graduates are welcome to apply.
The practice has three branches servicing the region, with rostered days between the clinics.
Clinic hours:
Monday to Friday – 8 am to 5 pm
Saturday – 9 am to 12 pm
Sunday – Closed
The mix of work is predominantly dairy. However, some clinics see a large number of companion animal cases, as well as dairy goat farms, sheep and heifers. There is the option to take on a companion animal focused role if desired.
The practice owner would like to provide each vet with a 4-day working week.
The clinics have modern in-house diagnostics, with basic blood tests available in 10 minutes, digital x-ray and more.
Work visa available for overseas applicants whose degree is recognised in New Zealand.
Based in the heartland of dairying in New Zealand, the practice is only 45 minutes from Hamilton and 2 hours from Auckland.
The area is also home to ‘middle-earth’ with plenty of attractions to explore, including the North Island’s highest waterfalls, spectacular scenery and sweeping valley views.
