An opportunity has become available for a mixed veterinarian to join a farm practice located in the Hawke’s Bay/Gisborne Region.
New/recent graduates and experienced vets are welcome to apply.
The type of work can be flexible. Primarily sheep and beef/cattle OR sheep, deer, and working dogs. There is also scope to undertake a small amount of companion animal work if desired.
The successful applicant will be working alongside an experienced veterinarian (17 years ) and a team of experienced support staff.
The practice works alongside a sister clinic located just over an hour away. There are 8 vets that work across the 2 clinics.
There is the opportunity to perform orthopaedics. However, this is not essential.
A work vehicle will be provided for farm visits.
The practice focuses on performance across the farm with confident veterinary medicine and advice, fast response times and an effective follow-up service.
The region has a reputation for great food and wine. There are also many excellent golf courses and the region hosts several classic road cycle races.
