A well-established, privately owned mixed animal practice is seeking a forward-thinking and experienced mixed animal veterinarian to join their small, dedicated team in the Canterbury region of New Zealand’s South Island.

The caseload is predominately companion animal plus sheep, alpacas, goats, working dogs and a touch of dairy
Veterinary services are delivered through a high-functioning, collaborative team that prioritises progressive, evidence-based medicine and preventative animal health. The ideal candidate will be an experienced mixed animal veterinarian, bringing a confident and well-rounded clinical skillset to the role. They will be comfortable working across both companion and production animal disciplines and will thrive in a varied caseload environment. This person will have a calm, personable manner and will naturally build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and animals alike.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach to teamwork are essential. The successful candidate will hold a BVSc or equivalent qualification and be registered, or eligible for registration, to practise in New Zealand.
