An exciting opportunity for a mixed practice veterinarian to join a dynamic team has become available.
The clinic is in the heart of South Canterbury dairy country, but services all species. The caseload for this role is a mix of companion animal and dairy.
This is a full-time role with a shared on-call roster. The on-call work is split between companion animal and production animal. Vets receive strong support from nurse and technician teams.
You will have the opportunity to work in a large group of practices and exchange ideas with multiple veterinarians. The practice employs a dedicated production animal team. Vets regularly visit farms to offer a variety of advice for dairy, sheep and beef farms on issues such as reproduction, mastitis, diseases and parasites.
The practice offers a range of services from traditional veterinary treatment through to consultation and advice on farm-wide issues such as reproduction. IDEXX, endoscope, laparoscope, ultrasound and X-Ray with an automatic processor.
The successful applicant will ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ postgraduate experience.
The clinic is set in an area of fantastic scenic beauty with proximity to large centres with restaurants, shops, schools and leisure facilities.
