An experienced mixed practice veterinarian is sought for a long-established, progressive practice in the Gippsland region of Victoria.

This is a mixed veterinary position with genuine flexibility around caseload. The work can be tailored to suit your strengths and interests, whether you prefer predominantly large animal (mainly dairy), companion animal, equine, or a true mixed role. You will be supported by experienced and collaborative teams who enjoy sharing knowledge, working closely together on cases and providing a high standard of care to a loyal and diverse client base.
The practice operates across multiple sites, offering excellent clinical depth, variety and support across disciplines. Facilities include modern consult spaces, a dedicated dentistry room, advanced imaging including CT, a large surgical theatre and treatment area, hydrotherapy and rehabilitation services, plus purpose-built equine facilities for both emergency and elective surgery. With experienced vets and quality equipment across the practice, the team manages the majority of cases in-house and refers very little.
The role is designed to support a long-term and sustainable career, with flexible work arrangements to help maintain work-life balance. There is a shared after-hours roster with excellent remuneration, along with teletriage support to help filter after-hours calls.
This position offers a salary of $90,000 to $140,000 plus super, depending on experience, along with generous after-hours remuneration. The employer is willing to assist with a work visa (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
