This well-established clinic in a thriving country town is seeking a mixed practitioner. The clinic is located within easy reach of both Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Couples are also encouraged to apply (small animal vets and/or mixed practitioners).
This position offers a varied caseload including dogs, cats, horses, cattle and farm animals. Vets have access to large animal facilities including cattle yards, mare crush, portable equine crush, plus a fully equipped, modern small animal clinic.
A branch clinic allows for access to experienced colleagues, equine specialists and additional clinical support if and when required. This allows for the best of both worlds: independence with backup.
The role would suit a mixed vet who has the ability to manage cases independently and also values a supportive, close-knit team.
The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
The practice is located in a thriving country town with a booming café scene. There is good access to all the amenities and it is only an hour to Brisbane or 1.5 hours to the Gold Coast. The town has a large population of tree-changers and young families relocating to the area, which means they have lots of willing owners prepared to do everything for their animals.
