JOB NO: 222,650LH2

A unique and flexible opportunity is available for a mixed veterinarian to join a supportive and progressive practice.

This role offers the chance to work across both farm and small animal caseloads within a collaborative team of 12 veterinarians, each bringing a variety of interests and expertise. Additional species include goats, camelids, occasional pigs and poultry. The practice does not see horses.

There is also exposure to a range of exotic species, although there is no obligation to see these cases unless of personal interest.

The farm team supports approximately 10,000 cattle, predominantly beef, alongside around 30,000 breeding ewes. Many clients are actively working towards greater sustainability within their enterprises, and the practice plays an important role in supporting this transition.

The small animal side is busy and varied, with a strong emphasis on thorough case workups and high clinical standards.

Facilities include digital radiography, ultrasound and dental radiography, allowing for comprehensive diagnostic capabilities.

No two days are the same, and clinical freedom is a valued part of the practice culture.

Whether you are an experienced mixed vet or a more recent graduate keen to develop your skills, applications are welcomed.

Those seeking full or part-time hours are encouraged to apply, with the option of a three or four day working week alongside participation in the farm out-of-hours rota, currently a quiet 1 in 4.

Clinical freedom is an important part of the practices ethos, and there is a generous CPD budget on offer.

The area offers a wide variety of outdoor activities, including swimming, surfing, sailing and biking.

Vetlink is a free service for job seekers.
