An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced large animal vet at a privately-owned practice in New Zealand’s Northland region.
You will be joining a fun and supportive team. There are currently 17 vets working across four clinics. The team includes both new graduates and seasoned professionals.
Vets at the practice enjoy a flexible four-day work week, and the employers are happy to accommodate similar arrangements. Large animal after hours are shared on a 1 in 5 rotation.
For the right candidate, the employers will provide an exceptionally strong package. The work/life balance at this practice is exceptional. No one works after 5 pm and on-call is well arranged.
Dairy work forms the bulk of the large animal caseload, with some beef, minimal sheep, and lifestyle blocks included.
The team is looking for a motivated and driven veterinarian who enjoys variety and is keen to contribute to a supportive practice environment. There is also the potential for future partnership for the right person.
A generous salary is offered, depending on experience, along with VCNZ registration, NZVA membership and a CPD allowance. The employers are also willing to consider assistance with a visa and relocation.
The practice is located in the beautiful Northland region of New Zealand.
