The position involves providing general practice services to small animals, including diagnosing and treating disease and injury, developing treatment plans and advising clients on the best care for their pets. Alongside your clinical work, you will also have the opportunity to support and share your knowledge with final year veterinary students, making this an appealing role for someone who enjoys mentoring and contributing to the future of the profession.
This would suit a vet with at least two years of experience in small animal general practice who brings a positive attitude, a collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to animal welfare and high standards of care. The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
