A general practice clinic in County Durham has a current vacancy for a veterinarian to join its experienced team of 10 vets.
This is a supportive and well-established group with 21 vets across three branches.
The position offers a 36-hour working week paid as full-time (40 hours), with a typical day starting at 8:30 am and finishing at 7:00 pm. The clinic allows time for quality care, with generous breaks including a two-hour lunch and a 45-minute afternoon catch-up. Weekend shifts are shared evenly on a 1-in-6 basis, and there is no significant time pressure during consults.
The clinic is modern and well-equipped, with a CT scanner arriving shortly to complement existing facilities, including digital radiography, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory.
You’ll be joining a welcoming, knowledgeable team that provides a collaborative environment and values continuity of care.
The employer is willing to assist with a work visa (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in the UK.
