A position has become available at a progressive and expanding mixed practice in Western Australia.
New/recent graduates, as well as experienced vets, are welcome to apply.
The employer is looking for someone who is eager to work up cases, open to trying new things, and committed to developing their skills. An interest in ECC, anaesthesia or small animal ultrasound will be highly regarded.
The role can be either full-time or part-time, with a minimum commitment of three days or 25 hours per week. (new graduates – full-time only)
The successful applicant can choose to work in a small animal only role or enjoy a varied caseload as part of a mixed practice, depending on their interests.
The overall practice caseload is currently 70% small animal, 30% equine and cattle, with a scattering of alpacas, sheep and the occasional pet pig.
The clinic is well-equipped, including digital x-ray, full in-house lab, ultrasound (for small and large animals), endoscope, IM3 dental suite and practice vehicles equipped for large animal work.

Working conditions for full-time vets include a 4-day working week with a one-in-five rotation for after-hours. Applications from vets interested in part-time work will also be considered.
Standard shift times:
Weekdays 7.30 am to 5.30 pm
Saturdays 8.30 am to 12.30 pm
The practice is located within a well-positioned regional town with easy access to beaches, wineries and national forests.
