This is a busy, well-established and well-equipped general practice. The position involves consulting, surgery, and participation in out-of-hours emergency work on a one-in-five roster.

New and recent graduates, as well as experienced vets, are welcome to apply. New graduates are not required to do after-hours calls for several months. (Until they feel confident taking the phone)
Salary (New graduate): $85 000 PA plus between $15 000 and $30 000 PA in after-hours fees plus superannuation.
Free accommodation for the first 3 months.

Vets from overseas are welcome to apply. The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
