A well-established mixed practice in Scotland is seeking an equine and farm animal veterinarian to join its experienced team.
This full-time role offers a varied caseload across equine, farm animal and smallholder work, supported by a collaborative and experienced team.
The practice is well-equipped with modern facilities, including equine stables and stocks, in-house laboratory services, digital radiography, ultrasound and respiratory endoscopy.
Clinic hours:
Weekdays: 8.30 am to 5.00 pm
Weekends: closed (vet on call from home)
The on-call rota is shared evenly (currently 1:3) and includes protected time off following overnight and weekend duties. Additional support includes an out-of-hours phone service and lone worker safety scheme.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (visa sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary surgeon in the UK.
