An opportunity is available for an equine and farm animal veterinarian to join a supportive mixed practice in Scotland on a fixed-term contract.
Minimum stay: 6 months.
A permanent position is also available at the practice.
This full-time position offers a diverse caseload involving equine, farm animal and smallholder work.
You will join an experienced team with access to excellent facilities, including equine stables and stocks, in-house laboratory services, digital radiography, ultrasound and respiratory endoscopy.
Clinic hours:
Weekdays: 8.30 am to 5.00 pm
Weekends: closed (vet on call from home)
The role includes participation in a shared on-call rota (currently 1:3), with protected time off following overnight and weekend duties. Additional support is provided through an out-of-hours phone service and lone worker safety scheme.
The practice is located in a beautiful part of Scotland, with access to stunning countryside, coastline and outdoor activities.
