An experienced Veterinary Surgeon is sought to join a supportive and well-established team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
This role offers a varied small-animal caseload, with the opportunity to work up both medical and surgical cases in well-equipped facilities. There is a visiting orthopaedic surgeon and diagnostic imaging certificate holder on staff.
The position is full-time, based on a 4.5-day week, with flexibility around working arrangements to suit individual needs.
There is a shared Saturday morning rota (currently 1:6) with time off in lieu. No emergency on-call but in-patient care retained in house – a dedicated night nurse stays with patients overnight, and a vet is on-call for the in-patients
You’ll be working alongside a friendly team of 7 vets (full-time and part-time), nurses and support staff who enjoy collaborating, sharing knowledge and supporting each other in day-to-day practice.
