Full Time Vet Job in Perth - 200,458MCE

A privately owned practice in the northern suburb of Perth is seeking to employ a full-time or part-time small animal vet. The successful applicant will join our existing 2.5 vet team. The ideal candidate will be competent with routine soft tissue surgery.

This is a full-time or part-time role, and the shifts to be worked are somewhat flexible. The clinic is open from 8:30am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.

The roster will include one or two days off in the week and only one Saturday in four to be worked. The clinic is closed on Sundays and public holidays.

The practice is spacious and well-equipped with IDEXX, digital dental radiography, digital radiography, electrocautery/surgery, Anitek monitoring, tonometer, Easote Mylab Ultrasound, twin high-speed G8 dental unit and is computerised with RxWorks and Smart Flow software.

Salary: $120,000 to $160,000 PA commensurate with experience. Special interests are encouraged and supported.

Vets with a minimum of three years postgraduate experience are welcome to apply.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

The practice is located less than 45 minutes north of Perth's CBD and just minutes from Perth's pristine coastline. There are several good schools in the area, shopping complexes, and a national park. There is something to suit almost everyone!
