A practice in Cheshire has an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian with management experience who wishes to further their career as a Clinical Director.

This role can be on a full-time or part-time basis, but a minimum of 3 days per week is required. You will also be part of the weekend/bank holiday rota for the main RCVS Hospital.

The team is dedicated to providing excellent client and patient care, using an evidence-based approach to ensure the best outcomes. The practice has been recently refurbished with updated reception and clinical areas and new equipment, including a new ultrasound scanner.

The employers prioritise the wellbeing of the team and maintain a positive workplace culture.

The ideal applicant will be an experienced veterinary professional with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a small animal vet. You must be a confident clinician who promotes a high standard of clinical work and client/patient care. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be leading and developing a clinical team to achieve great results together.

As the Clinical Director, your responsibilities will include managing the vets, nurses, and support staff, ensuring effective day-to-day operation of the practice, and compliance with RCVS standards. You will provide clinical leadership and be involved in setting and achieving the practice budget, resolving customer complaints, and growing the client base through proactive networking. You will also identify opportunities to develop the business and build relationships with external stakeholders.

Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science or other relevant qualification, and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner.
