A veterinary clinic in County Durham is seeking a dedicated vet for an out-of-hours night position.
This role offers sole-charge responsibility, supported by an experienced ECC-trained veterinary nurse and an auxiliary staff member, with backup always available.
The clinic is modern and well-equipped, with a CT scanner arriving shortly to complement existing facilities, including digital radiography, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory.
The roster is flexible, with a 7-on, 7-off or 7-on, 21-off rotation available or alternative patterns open for discussion.
Accommodation is available to support night work.
The clinic fosters a supportive work environment and places no significant time pressure on consults, giving you space to provide thorough, thoughtful care. Prior ECC experience or a certificate is highly regarded, though not essential.
The employer is willing to assist with a work visa (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in the UK.
