An excellent opportunity is available for a veterinarian to join a leading specialist and emergency veterinary hospital in Auckland, New Zealand.
This role would suit an empathetic and clear communicator who enjoys working with a diverse range of clients and collaborating within a dynamic, supportive clinical team. Emergency experience would be ideal, but GP veterinarians who are keen to step into an emergency role are encouraged to apply.
The successful veterinarian will manage emergency cases within 24/7 hospitals and work alongside specialist teams to provide care for patients out of hours. The role offers the chance to develop within a high-level clinical environment, with support from a large veterinary team of 21 vets and access to advanced imaging, diagnostic tools, and specialist-led medical and surgical support. There is no sole charge work required.
This position offers a salary that reflects experience and contribution, along with a steady, predictable roster. Rosters are flexible and can be tailored to the vet’s requirements.

Applicants must hold a veterinary degree recognised by the New Zealand Veterinary Council and be registered or eligible for registration as a veterinarian in New Zealand. A minimum of two years of clinical practice is required.
