An exciting opportunity has become available for a veterinary nurse to join a large team at a busy hospital in Melbourne’s north.
This position is for an Emergency Overnight Nurse.
Standard shifts are 6 pm till 6 am, and 10 pm till 6 am however, there is the potential for shorter shifts.
This is an opportunity to work with qualified staff across general practice, specialist medicine and emergency services. You’ll join a team of helpful, experienced, competent and well-qualified colleagues.
The practice utilises nurse practitioners. In this role, nurses are involved in the giving of injections, stitch removals, post-operative checks and triage. You will not be bored working at this practice!
They have a large central hospital, specialist, medical and surgical referral centre, and emergency centre. The hospital is very well-equipped with endoscopy, ultrasound, radiology and in-house pathology. The clinic is computerised with RxWorks software.
The practice is approximately 30 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD. It is conveniently located just a short walking distance from the tram and local shopping centre.
