A well-regarded, purpose-built animal hospital in inner Melbourne is seeking an experienced veterinary nurse for a permanent late shift role covering triage, inpatient care and emergency theatre work.
Shifts run from 1:30pm to midnight and the position is available on a full-time or part-time basis. Some flexibility is available for candidates who would prefer a mix of day and late shifts.
This is a varied and hands-on role that will suit a nurse who enjoys the pace and variety of emergency and urgent care work. You’ll be part of a close-knit, skilled team, working across triage, inpatient care and emergency theatre, with plenty of opportunity to develop your clinical skills across a wide range of presentations.
The facility is exceptionally well equipped, with CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, digital radiology, ECG, tonopen IOP, cryopen, doppler, advanced monitoring tools, an in-house laboratory, and separate ICU wards for dogs and cats.
