A practice on the coast of New Zealand’s South Island has a current vacancy for a large animal vet to join the team.
The practice offers a full range of veterinary services to its surrounding community for production and companion animals. The practice also sees a little deer, sheep, beef, equine and lifestyle.
You will be joining a team of four large animal vets and five companion animal vets. The team provide their clients with a friendly, high-quality service.
This position is predominantly dairy, but your companion animal skills will be utilised through the mixed on-call roster. The mixed on-call roster is currently 1 in 7, and 1 in 3 large animal on-call only during the spring months. You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships by working closely with the dairy community in the surrounding area.
This new purpose-built clinic is carefully designed and well-resourced with all the new equipment you would expect to provide a great service to your clients. It provides an excellent space to work in.
