An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced vet to join a large clinic in South Otago.
The caseload is 100% sheep and beef. There is also the option to undertake some deer, goat, camelid and pig work, if desired.
The successful applicant will have the support of the 21-vet team, who work across two branches. Vets at the practice have a wide range of experienced across all areas of mixed practice.
This full-time position can be flexible. The after-hours rota is shared, 1 in 8 and 1 in 4 during Spring.
This role offers the opportunity for you to progress into management if desired. Vets are encouraged to develop their skills in the areas they enjoy!
South Otago is a safe, relaxed and friendly area. The local farms are situated amongst some of the best scenery in New Zealand. The area is ideal for explorers and thrill-seekers alike but is also a family-friendly area. There are plenty of recreational activities to get involved in, such as fishing, walking and biking and going to the beach, which is only a 15-minute drive away.
