An opportunity is available for a small animal veterinarian at a purpose-built, advanced, RCVS-accredited small animal hospital in Essex.
The practice has a current vacancy for an advanced veterinary surgeon. Applications from certificate holders and/or specialists are welcome. The hospital offers the support, caseload, and working environment you seek.
This is a newly established, multidisciplinary veterinary hospital that prioritises collaboration and mutual respect to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. The practice boasts a stable, permanent clinical team of 40 professionals, including 18 veterinarians with expertise in advanced orthopaedics, medicine, ECC, exotics, surgery, imaging, cardiology, and ophthalmology.
The team works in a supportive environment, with access to state-of-the-art equipment and 24-hour on-site hospitalisation, ensuring continuity of care and high clinical standards. The hospital services a large and loyal local client base, as well as a steady stream of second-opinion and referral cases, offering a stimulating mix of advanced and emergency work.
Each veterinarian’s workload and CPD opportunities are tailored to their experience and areas of interest.
The position can be full-time or part-time hours with weekends worked on a 1 in 4 rota.
The employer is willing to assist with a work permit for suitably qualified overseas applicants.
The successful applicant will work across two sites and will be passionate about providing excellent service to clients and their pets and have the desire to work up cases to a high standard with a real enthusiasm for excellent patient care and the success of the practice.
The practice is located just a 60-minute direct train journey to London and a 45-minute drive from Stansted Airport, making travel to Europe during downtime easy.
