An exciting opportunity has become available for a mixed or large animal veterinarian to join a friendly and passionate team in Dundee, Scotland. There is also a position available at this practice for a small animal vet.

Both experienced vets and recent graduates with a minimum of 6 months’ experience are welcome to apply.

The practice sees a varied caseload of pleasure and competition horses, large farms to small holdings and camelids. The small animal work is a nice mix between hospital and small branch work, with a generally lovely client base, many of whom are interested in detailed case work ups.

The team comprises of 6 experienced large animal veterinarians as well as a dedicated team of large animal nurses. The rota is split evenly with protected time following the night on call. There is one 1/2 day every week and Monday off following a weekend on-call.

There is little need to refer cases, as the practice often has visiting experts. In-house equine stables and stocks, as well as an in-house lab mean that thorough workups are always achieved.

The practice has all of the standard equipment expected in a modern vet practice, including dental dremals, head stands, respiratory scope, mobile digital x-ray, 2 PDS scanners and an ultrasound scanner for horse workups, and a bull fertility testing kit.
