A veterinarian is required to join a privately owned small animal practice in North West Sydney.

The full-time role offers plenty of scope to work across consulting, surgery and medicine, with a varied caseload to keep day-to-day work interesting. Veterinarians with a particular area of interest are encouraged to apply, whether that is surgery, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, dentistry, behaviour, rehabilitation, dermatology or another field. The practice is keen to support vets who would like to continue developing their skills and expertise.
The practice is well equipped, with digital x-ray, dental radiology and a dental machine, in-house pathology, ultrasound, surgical and orthopaedic equipment, modern surgical facilities and a brand-new CT machine. The practice is computerised using RxWorks. There is also regular access to visiting specialists and referral-level support.
The successful vet will work alongside a skilled and caring team of veterinarians and nurses, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and creating a positive workplace. Applicants should hold a Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent and have a minimum of two to three years’ experience in small animal practice. Current NSW veterinary registration, or eligibility to obtain registration, is required. Strong diagnostic, medical and surgical case management skills are important, along with confident client communication, a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within the team.
