JOB NO: 220,694MC

A veterinarian is required to join a high-quality, privately owned practice in Far North Queensland.

This position would suit a vet who wants to be part of something bigger, a true support to regional communities. As a team, this practice focuses on building a culture where everyone in every role is valued and genuinely enjoys coming to work. All of the vets are encouraged to follow their passion and to develop and advance their skills.

New/recent graduates are welcome to apply.

For a full time role, vets work a four-day week. Although the employers are looking to fill a full time gap in the team, they pride themselves on offering flexibility and can accommodate applicants who would prefer to work a little less.

The practice is located in a purpose-built hospital and is very well equipped. There is in-house pathology, laser therapy, digital radiography, ultrasound and more.

When it comes to remuneration, the practice is industry-leading. In fact, they are one of the very few practices that have a clear and transparent salary guide. And they guarantee you will be recognised for your expertise, experience, qualifications and leadership skills.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

The successful applicant will enjoy working in a beautiful area close to the Great Barrier Reef, national parks, pristine tropical rainforests, crater lakes and golden beaches with a range of outdoor activities available. If you love ‘living life in summer’, then you will love it here.
