An independently owned veterinary practice is seeking a vet to join the team on a part-time basis.
The role offers two or three days per week, with some flexibility around Saturdays. Weekday hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm. Saturdays are 8am to 2pm.
The practice has a team of four vets and eight nurses, with many team members having been with the clinic for over ten years. There is always another veterinarian on hand to assist with cases or offer advice. The practice regularly utilises specialists and has visiting surgeons.
There is flexibility to tailor the clinical work to the successful vet’s preferences. The role can be consulting only or a combination of consulting and surgery.
The team are focused on providing fantastic care along with a warm, friendly and personalised service for pets and owners.
The clientele is very loyal and easygoing.
The day-to-day schedule is flexible to accommodate more time for complex cases and other consults, such as behaviour and skin cases.
No after-hours are required, and there is the option to refer complex and critical cases.
The practice is well-equipped with IM3 dental machine, IDEXX catalyst, lasercyte, anaesthetic machines and ultrasound.
The clinic is located just 1.5 hours south of Sydney, in a beautiful coastal region.
