A position is available for a new graduate veterinarian to join a privately owned, multi-vet clinic in Perth’s northern suburbs.
The successful applicant will join a team of five experienced vets in a supportive and friendly environment, making this a great opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build their confidence and develop their clinical skills.
The role will be four days per week. One day each week will be spent working alongside the practice owner, learning and developing surgical skills.
Standard consultations at the practice are 20 minutes long, providing sufficient time to thoroughly work up cases and engage with clients.
The practice prides itself on having a fun and social staff culture, with regular team bonding events held throughout the year. Outside interests are strongly encouraged.
A recent major hospital redevelopment and expansion has resulted in a modern facility featuring three consultation rooms, a dedicated euthanasia room, two reception areas, two treatment rooms, two surgical theatres and a dedicated vets’ office.
The clinic is well equipped with Agfa DR X-ray with Zoomax interface, Mindray Vetus E7 ultrasound, a wireless video otoscope, Tono-Pen XL, Bovie diathermy with smoke evacuator, Darvall inspiratory air warmers, active scavenging systems, VETSCAN HM5 and VS2, Vcheck 200 and qLabs coagulation blood analysers, a VETSCAN UA analyser and a central oxygen generator.
The hospital is conveniently located approximately 20 minutes from Perth’s CBD, with a variety of restaurants, cafes and a shopping centre nearby. Perth’s beautiful beaches are only a 15-minute drive away, offering plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and a relaxed coastal lifestyle.
